Fish Update November 8

Fresh cod is coming!  Hokkaido cod is almost here.  This is such a great fish for all kinds of dishes.

Gindara (cod soaked in white miso), however, is still out of reach, price-wise.  Gindara is made with frozen cod which is soaked in the miso for several days.  I still cannot get reasonably priced frozen cod so it is unavailable on Andy's Fish AND in the restaurant.  I'll let you know when it's back!

Scallops Rising!  Not in price - but in quantity.  Luckily the availability is increasing.  Although their size still cannot compare to that of two years ago, the taste is the same.  Order today and try.

For the hirame or fluke fans, is still not available until a reliable source can be found.
